The Kansas City Brigade are 0-6. However, five of those losses have been by eight points or less. Here is a closer look at the Brigade having used bad luck and untimely turnovers to begin their season.

Week 1 vs Tampa Bay

The three extra point misses were the only Martinez has missed all year. New York wins 50-47.

Week 5 vs San Jose

Week 6 at Georgia

Kansas City jumps out to a 21-0 lead on the road. Georgia returns two interceptions for touchdowns in D Bryant's first AFL start at quarterback. Martinez missed 25 yard field goal. Bryant's last second Hail Mary falls incomplete in the end zone. Georgia wins 70-63.

Week 7 vs Chicago

D Bryant's final pass gets stuck in the trusses which is located at the bottom of the net. The pass is ruled dead and the game is over. Chicago wins 49-42.

Kansas City's losses have been a mixture of missed opportunities, costly turnovers, and a little bad luck. The Brigade, who are only two games out of the last playoff spot, hope to get things going against the Colorado Crush and Saturday, April 19th. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Sprint Center.
