Bisons To Host Brian Dux Night On Friday

The Buffalo Bisons will host the Syracuse Chiefs on Friday, April 18 (6:05 p.m.) in the final game of the 2008 season-opening homestand. The game will be a fridaynightbash!®, sponsored by Seneca Gaming Corporation, with a pre-game Plaza Party at 4:30 p.m. and post game Fireworks Show, presented by HSBC Bank USA, N.A.
The Bisons also announced that Friday's game will be Brian Dux Night. The team will be selling New Era Brian Dux hats, T-shirts and other merchandise throughout the game in support of the Brian Dux Assist Fund.
Dux was an ALL-WNY basketball player at Orchard Park High School and the captain of the 2002-2003 Canisius College team. On November 10, 2007, he was seriously injured in an automobile accident in England where he was playing for the Guilford Heat. He is recovering from his injuries.
The evening will begin with the pre-game Plaza Party in front of the Dunn Tire Park Box Office (Swan St.) at 4:30 p.m. and will feature $3 specials on hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausages and 16 oz. beers. There will also be live music from Lakeside Blues.
Brian Dux's brother, Aaron, will throw a ceremonial first pitch prior to the 6:05 p.m. start. After the Bisons/Chiefs game, there will be a spectacular Fireworks Show, presented by HSBC Bank USA, N.A.
