WHAT'S ON TAP

The Peoria Rivermen closed out the 2007-08 regular season with a mark of 38-33-4-5, good for 85 points and seventh place in the AHL's West Division. Thanks to all our season ticket holders, fans, and corporate partners for making this a tremendous season!

2008-09 SEASON TICKET INFORMATION

The Peoria Rivermen announced season ticket pricing for the 2008-09 Season, with fans receiving a great deal with Early Bird pricing - the same price as back in 2006-07!

Season Ticket Holders will also receive a new benefit - Weekday Bonus Tickets for Friends!

Fans paying in full by May 15 will receive Early Bird Full Season Ticket pricing as follows: Lower Bowl - $560 per seat ($240 savings; average ticket price=$14); Upper Bowl - $398 per seat ($202 savings; average ticket price=$9.95); and Upper Bowl, Pilot's House - $350 per seat ($130 savings; average ticket price=$8.75).

In addition, for every seat purchased, each full season ticket holder will receive an Upper Bowl ticket for every weekday game played during the season. For example, four (4) Lower Bowl, Full Season tickets purchased equals four (4) Upper Bowl tickets to each weekday Rivermen game during the 2008-09 season.

Fans who put half down by the May 15 deadline and pay in full by August 1 will invest $685 for a Lower Bowl seat ($115 savings; average ticket price=$17.13), $495 for an Upper Bowl seat ($105 savings; average ticket price=$12.38) and $440 for an Upper Bowl, Pilot's House seat ($40 savings: average ticket price=$11).

Full season ticket holders will continue to receive the Unused Ticket Redemption benefit but will not be able to redeem unused tickets on concert nights.

Walk-up ticket prices for 2008-09 are as follows: Lower Bowl=$20, Upper Bowl=$15 and Pilot's House=$12.

WEEK 26 - RIVERMEN ACTION (2-2-0-0)

Wednesday, April 9 - RIVERMEN 6 @ Rockford 1

For the second time this season the Rivermen handed the Rockford IceHogs a 6-1 defeat at the Rockford MetroCentre. Mike Glumac (1-2-3) and Jean-Guy Trudel (3a) led the scoring parade while Charles Linglet notched a pair of goals. Nicholas Drazenovic, Chris Porter, and Ryan Reaves all scored in the game as well, while the Rivermen received 30 saves from Hannu Toivonen.

Friday, April 11 - RIVERMEN 2 vs. San Antonio 5

Mike Glumac and Tyson Strachan each scored to forge a 2-0 lead for Peoria, but the Rampage answered with five straight goals to win going away. Five different Rampage players lit the lamp and Al Montoya made 29 saves to help them to the win.

Saturday, April 12 - RIVERMEN 4 vs. Iowa 1

The Rivermen finished off the home schedule in style, dumping the Stars 4-1 on Saturday night. Martin Kariya scored to kick things off with a shorthanded marker in the second period. Marty Sertich tied the game for Iowa but Peoria came back and rattled off three straight goals for the win. Nicholas Drazenovic, Charles Linglet, and Jean-Guy Trudel scored to send the hometown fans home with smiles. Hannu Toivonen stopped 23 shots for the win.

Sunday, April 13 - RIVERMEN 3 @ Chicago 5

Peoria fell behind 3-0 before staging a third period rally to tie the game. Martin Kariya, Jean-Guy Trudel, and Nicholas Drazenovic all scored to get Peoria right back in the game. But with under two minutes to go in regulation, Darren Haydar scored the game winner, and Jason Krog tacked on an empty net goal for the win.

RIVERMEN NEWS AND NOTES

Jean-Guy Trudel recorded his 250th regular season AHL assist against the Wolves on Sunday.

Chris Beckford-Tseu posted his 150th professional regular season appearance on Sunday against Chicago.

Mike Glumac recorded his 250th AHL point, including playoffs, on Wednesday against Rockford.

Martin Kariya reached 150 pro assists, including playoffs, on Wednesday night.
