A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies announced today the winners of their 2007-08 individual player awards. The following is a list of the worthy recipients:
The Toronto Marlies Most Valuable Player Award: #25 Ben Ondrus
Previous winners: John Pohl (2005-06) and Marc Moro (2006-07)
The Toronto Marlies Best Defenceman Award: #20 Jay Harrison
Previous winners: Ian White (2005-06) and Staffan Kronwall (2006-07)
The Toronto Marlies Rookie of the Year Award: #47 Darryl Boyce
Previous winners: Colin Murphy (2005-06) and Jaime Sifers (2006-07)
The Toronto Marlies Leading Scorer Award: #17 David Ling
Previous winners: John Pohl (2005-06) and Erik Westrum (2006-07)
The Toronto Marlies Player Most Exemplifying Sportsmanship & Dedication Award: #3 Chris Harrington
Previous winners: Bates Battaglia (2005-06) and Brad Leeb (2006-07)
The Toronto Marlies Community Service Award: #4 Phil Oreskovic
