North Carolina FC News Release
The Carolina RailHawks hosted Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls on Friday Night in front of a crowd of 5,426 fans. The NY Red Bulls won the contest 1-0 with a goal by Midfielder Dave van den Bergh. RailHawks Head Coach Scott Schweitzer had a chance to take a good look at his team and the players on trial under normal game day circumstances against a team at the end of its preseason preparation.
Next the RailHawks host the 2007 NCAA Champions Wake Forest University on Saturday March 29th at 7:00 PM on Field Two at WakeMed Soccer Park. Tickets for the event are $5 and fans will have the chance to see the 2008 Carolina RailHawks only a day after having played a Major League Soccer side.
