Ice Pilots Players to Battle Leaders of Crestview in Game of Broomball for Charity

PENSACOLA, FL - Pensacola Ice Pilots players will participate in a game of broomball on Thursday night, March 27th from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Crestview High School Gymnasium. The Ice Pilots will play a group of doctors and business leaders. Proceeds from the event will go to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Program.

Broomball is similar to hockey where there will be five players and a goalie on the floor at one time. The game will consist of three 15 minute periods with a non-stop clock. There will be referees and a scoreboard operator.

There will be a $5 admission charge for the game with the proceeds going to charity.

Don't miss the hard hitting, exciting action, as the Ice Pilots' next home game is Sunday, March 30 at 5:05 p.m. vs. the Mississippi Sea Wolves at the Civic Center. It's Saturn Sunday and Recycle Sunday. One lucky fan will have a chance to win a 2008 Saturn Sky. Group Tickets and Military Packages are still available through the Ice Pilots office.
