Twisters Assigned Former Razorback Player

(North Little Rock, AR) - The Arkansas Twisters have been assigned defensive back Lawrence Richardson by the arenafootball2 league office. Richardson is a former University of Arkansas standout.

Richardson was a former All-SEC performer as a cornerback for the Razorbacks from 2000 to 2003. He was a first team All-SEC pre-season selection before his senior season. He holds the school record for pass deflections when he led the SEC with 20 during his sophomore season. The Hogs went to four bowl games during his four years at Fayetteville.

The former Hog has played in NFL Europe and signed contracts with the NFL's Buffalo Bill and AFL's Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Twisters have been assigned a total of 15 players for the 2008 season. A complete list of those players can be found at www.arkansastwisters.com.
