
Worcester Sharks to get more muscle, hire Jamie Rodriquez

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the organization has hired Jamie Rodriguez as the Strength and Conditioning Assistant for the Worcester Sharks. Rodriguez brings over five years of experience and will work closely with Worcester Sharks Head Athletic Trainer Matt White.
Jaime is a 2003 graduate of Lasell College and is currently the Program Director and Head Strength Coach and Personal Trainer at Mike Boyles Strength and Conditioning. Most recently, Rodriguez served as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the 2007 Anaheim Ducks Prospect Camp in Anaheim, CA.
Rodriguez will be working part time with the Worcester Sharks to continue with the growth and the development of the Sharks prospects in Worcester.
"We are very pleased to have acquired Jamie's knowledge in the areas of fitness and conditioning in the Sharks organization," said Lehr. "Rodriguez will certainly help the Sharks prospects develop on and off the ice."
The Newton Highlands, MA native will continue to hold his position at Mike Boyles Strength and Conditioning while joining the Sharks organization for their second season in Franchise History.
The Sharks travel to Portland on Friday, October 26, at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard live on 580 WTAG, as well as online through B2 Networks, by following the link on the Sharks website, at www.sharksahl.com. The Sharks return home to Worcester on Saturday to host the Hartford Wolf Pack. Game time is at 7:05 p.m. Trick or Treating in the Concourse and "Mystery Puck Night" will headline the promotions. As is every Saturday Night, Sharks players will be signing autographs and college students can enjoy discounted tickets with a valid college ID.
