Mayles Named Executive League Director

Milford, CT - (September 5, 2007) The United States Basketball League (USBL) has appointed Al Mayles to serve as the USBL's Executive League Coordinator. Mayles has been the USBL's Supervisor of Officials for the past three years and will continue to oversee officiating of the league while expanding his role in the league's operations. As the Executive League Coordinator, Al will spearhead franchise development efforts while coordinating expansion with USBL Commissioner Daniel Meisenheimer, III.
Al has been involved with basketball administration for over 25 years at the amateur and professional levels. He has been involved with the USBL for over nine years and seen the great opportunities the league has created, as well as pitfalls in recent years. "Our focus is on building relationships and being more cohesive," stated Mayles.
