BayBears Add Cunningham From Visalia
July 29, 2007 - Southern League (SL1)
Mobile BayBears News Release
MOBILE, AL - The BayBears outfield will look different starting Sunday, with the addition of Aaron Cunningham from Single-A Visalia. Cunningham was acquired by the Diamondbacks in late June from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Triple-A infielder Danny Richar. In 29 games with the Oaks after the trade, Cunningham hit .358 with three home runs and 20 RBI's while stealing five bases.
To make room on the roster, outfielder Jarred Ball has been called to Triple-A Tucson. Ball played all three outfield spots for Mobile, batting .252 in 77 games in 2007.
