Friday's Game Sold Out; First Whitecaps Sellout This Year

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - The West Michigan Whitecaps game with the Dayton Dragons on Friday is officially sold out after the announcement of Kenny Rogers' scheduled rehab start for the Whitecaps. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m.
"We already had a great weekend series lined up with the first half playoff race and fireworks, but the news of Rogers put us over the top for Friday," said Jim Jarecki, Vice President of Whitecaps Professional Baseball. "We're looking forward to giving the fans an enjoyable night at Fifth Third Ballpark and seeing an established Major League veteran take the mound for the Whitecaps."
The remaining standing room only tickets were sold within a couple hours Wednesday afternoon. Friday's game will be the Whitecaps first sellout of the season and first one since July 22 last season against Dayton.
Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and fans are encouraged to arrive early. For more information, contact the Whitecaps Front Office at 616-784-4131.
