Kreps recalled by Florida

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that center Kamil Kreps has been recalled by the Florida Panthers.

The native of the Czech Republic played in 11 games this season with the Panthers, recording one point and four minutes in penalties. His first NHL point came on January 13th against the Washington Capitals.

As an Amerk, Kreps ranks sixth on the team among all active players with 33 points (13+20) in 49 games. He is also currently on a four-game point streak with Rochester. Furthermore, the 23 year old has recorded five assists in his last three games.

The Amerks will return to action on Wednesday, April 4th, as they take on the Toronto Marlies at The Blue Cross Arena. The contest will be the ninth of 10 scheduled meetings between the two teams. The 7:05 p.m. contest will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks.
