PINKNEY PERFORMANCE: Kevinn Pinkney of the Bakersfield Jam is the D-League Performer of the Week for February 26. He is the first player from Bakersfield to earn the honor this season. Pinkney led the Jam to a 3-0 record last week as the team extended its winning streak to six games. Over the three games, Pinkney averaged 24.3 points, 9.6 rebounds while shooting .700 (28-of-40) from the field.

ILIC TO 14ers: The New Jersey Nets assigned rookie Mile Ilic to Colorado on Monday. A 7'2" center from Serbia, Ilic was the second round (43rd overall) pick of the Nets in the 2005 NBA Draft. He has appeared in five games this season, totaling six minutes of action.
FIRST MAKES 26: Mile Ilic is the first player assigned by the Nets to the D-League, increasing the number of NBA teams that have now utilized the assignment system to 26.
