Corpus Christi Rayz goaltender, Brent Zelenewich was named the 2007 CHL Southern Conference All-Star Team Most Valuable Player on Wednesday Night, following his second period performance at the mid-season classic. Joining Zelenewich at the 2007 Dodge CHL All-Star Game was Rayz leading scorer Justin Quenneville. Quenneville scored a second period goal which at the time upped the Rayz advantage to 5-3. Quenneville was named as a starting forward for the South, giving the Rayz three consecutive seasons with a player in the Southern Conference starting lineup.
