'Catters Shine in Skills Competition: All-Star Game Tonight

Beaumont, TX (January 17, 2007) Wildcatters All-Stars Kevin Baker, Paul Albers and Mike Madill participated in last night's Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Skills Competition in Boise, Idaho. The American Conference defeated the National Conference in four out of the six events and won the Breakaway Relay 17-8.

Wildcatters' defenseman Mike Madill helped the American Conference win the Puck Control Relay. In the Hardest Shot competition, 'Catters defenseman Paul Albers came in third place in the eight man group with a 93.9 mph shot. Gwinnett's Jon Awe won the competition, setting a new ECHL record, with a 102.2 mph shot. In the Rapid Fire competition, forward Kevin Baker scored a goal for the American Conference in the win.

Tonight is the 2007 Rbk ECHL All-Star Game. Wildcatters Head Coach Malcolm Cameron will lead the American Conference into battle against the National Conference. Forward Kevin Baker is an assistant captain for the team and will start. Rookie defensemen Paul Albers and Mike Madill will participate as well.
