Lee gets called up to AHL

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that defenseman Chris Lee has been called up to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Lee, 26, heads to Bridgeport having picked up 18 points (3g, 15a) in 25 games with the Everblades this year. The MacTier, Ontario native is making his second trip to the AHL this year after skating in three games, and picking up one assist with the Albany River Rats from October 16-23.

Lee is in his third professional season, and his third with the Everblades. The former SUNY-Potsdam alum has 82 points (18g, 64a) in 145 career games with the 'Blades. Lee's best season came last year when he tallied 37 points in 52 games and earned a spot on the American Conference All-Star roster for the 2006 ECHL All-Star game.
