The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has loaned center Tim Brent to Team Canada for the 2006 Spengler Cup. Played every year in Davos, Switzerland from Dec. 25-31, the Spengler Cup is the oldest European tournament for club teams.

Throwback Jersey Auction!

The first group of these special jerseys is now available for purchase through an online auction. The minimum bid for each jersey is $250 (USD) and the minimum bid increment is $25. The current highest bids will be posted daily on www.portlandpirates.com. All bids must be received by 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, January 5th.
