TULSA, Okla., November 28, 2006 - The Tulsa 66ers will play host to the Dakota Wizards Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1-2 at Expo Square Pavilion. Tipoff is 7 p.m. both nights.

The 66ers tip off the two game homestand with a special halftime performance by Jenks Cheer & Pom on Friday, Dec. 1.

On Saturday, it's one arena, 10 teams, five games and one ticket. High school basketball will share the floor with the NBA's future stars Saturday as the Tulsa 66ers play host to the Booker T. Washington Hornets and Central High School Braves.

The BTW junior varsity girl's team will take on Central's Lady Braves at 12 p.m. to tip off the day's action. BTW and Central's junior varsity boy's teams will compete at 1:30 p.m. and the BTW and Central varsity girls at 3 p.m. The boys varsity teams will go head-to-head beginning at 4:45 p.m.

The basketball does not stop there. The Tulsa 66ers will battle the Dakota Wizards for the first time at home at 7 p.m.

"These two high schools have a tremendous basketball history," said Joe Berry, Tulsa 66ers president. "We are honored to have these schools bring their basketball teams to the Pavilion."

The fun continues on Saturday night when the 66ers celebrate the American Indian heritage by stocking the evening with special ceremonies, performances and artists. Saturday night will also mark the first installment of The Year of the Uniform promotion in which the first 1,066 fans to attend the game will receive a Year of the Uniform jersey, courtesy of Kivisto Family Foundation.

"American Indian Night will be an opportunity for 66ers fans to gather and commemorate the American Indian heritage and its importance to the Oklahoma community," said Berry.
