CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers announced that Blake Bellefeuille, Chris Holt, Dusty Jamieson, Kenton Smith and Alex Westlund will visit David Cox Road Elementary School tomorrow from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
The players will visit classrooms to read stories to the students, participate in question and answer sessions and demonstrate basic hockey skills during physical education classes. This appearance will be the first in a series of visits to CMS schools to help educate students on the game of hockey.
The Charlotte Checkers travel to South Carolina Friday night. Be sure to catch the action live on B2 Networks or on Teamline. The Checkers return home to host the Gwinnett Gladiators on Saturday at 7:30 pm and the South Carolina Stingrays on Sunday at 4:00 pm.
