Rays Trim Roster to 20

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays announced that Chris Kovalcik (LW), Mark Prentice (RW) and defensemen Tim Judy and Jeffrey Moor have been released from the roster following Saturday's preseason loss to the Charlotte Checkers.
The Stingrays open up the regular season on the road on Friday, October 20 at Gwinnett. The game will be broadcast live on 1340 AM beginning at 7:15 p.m.
South Carolina begins their home schedule on Saturday, October 21 starting at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum when they face the Columbia Inferno.
Opening Night is also Carolina Dodge Night with the first 7,000 fans receiving their own Dodge Rally Towel. Activities for the home opener start at 4:00 p.m. on the Plaza, so get there early!
