Philadelphia KiXX News Release

Philadelphia, PA, September 25, 2006 - The Philadelphia KiXX announced today the acquisition of five players in the 2006 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Dispersal Draft. Philadelphia, based on their winning percentage in the 2005-06 season, was given the third selection in each round and selected defender Genoni Martinez with their first-round pick (third overall).

Martinez, the fourth player in League history to win the Defender of the Year honor in three different seasons, was a key component in the St. Louis Steamer's successful run to the 2005-06 MISL Regular Season Championship. The native of Mexico City began his professional indoor career with Wichita in the 1996-97 season and has amassed 258 regular season appearances, 237 goals, 187 assists and 402 blocks in his 10-year career. In playing 25 of 30 regular season, Martinez totaled 16 goals, 15 assists and 14 blocks.

The KiXX then selected midfielder Sandre Naumoski with the team's second-round choice (ninth overall). Naumoski, a three-year veteran, registered 16 points on 13 goals and three assists in 24 appearances with St. Louis last season. The native of Skopje, Macedonia began his professional indoor career with the Kansas City Comets in 2003-04, before being selected by the Steamers in the 2004 MISL Expansion Draft. The 27-year-old Naumoski is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, where he earned First Team All-Conference honors during his senior year.

The club's remaining selections were as follows:
