Gladiators Add two Defensemen

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have agreed to terms with defensemen Jamie Milam and Brian Lee.
Milam is the young brother of former Gladiator Troy Milam. Jamie completed his final collegiate season at Northern Michigan University last year. He turned professional at the end of last season, joining the Fort Wayne Comets of the United Hockey League for 8 regular season games and 5 post season games.
The Lake Orion, Michigan native collected 99 points in 157 career collegiate games with the Wildcats. He had a career year during his senior season last year posting 7 goals and 22 assists for 29 points in 40 games.
Milam was named the recipient of the Ed Ward Most Improved Player Award last year during his senior season at Northern Michigan.
Lee split time during his first professional season last year with the Norfolk Admirals and the Greenville Grrrowl. He collected 7 points in a combined 49 games last year while amassing 105 penalty minutes.
The Berrien Springs, Michigan native was selected by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the 3rd round, #71 overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He appeared in 9 American Hockey League games with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks during the 2002-03 season where he posted a goal and 4 penalty minutes.
Lee played five seasons of major junior hockey with the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League where he appeared in 319 games. He posted 25 goals and collected 107 points for the Otters.
