Fort Worth acquires Ndudi Ebi

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 4 - The Fort Worth Flyers have acquired forward Ndudi Ebi from the NBA Development League available player pool.
Ebi, 6-9, 195, was a first round selection (26th overall) of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2003 NBA Draft. In two seasons with the Timberwolves he played in 19 games, averaging 4.5 minutes, 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. Ebi recorded an NBA career high for points with 18 against San Antonio on April 20, 2005. He had eight rebounds twice.
An early entry candidate for the 2003 Draft, Ebi was named to the USA Today All-USA First Team and to the PARADE All-America High School Boys Basketball First Team. He led Westbury Christian High School in Houston to Texas state titles as a freshman, sophomore and a senior. He was named First Team All-State each of his final three seasons of high school. Ebi competed in the USA Olympic Festival in 2001 and set festival record for points (139), field goals made (56) and field goal attempted (108) while being named Most Valuable Player.
