Monia and Webster recalled from Fort Worth

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Trail Blazers recalled guard/forward Sergei Monia and guard Martell Webster from the Forth Worth Flyers of the NBA Development League, Portland General Manager John Nash announced today. The two rookies were assigned to Fort Worth on Jan. 15, 2006.
In eight games with Flyers, Monia averaged 8.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 22.3 minutes. Monia's best game during his stint was Jan. 24 versus the Florida Flame when he scored 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. He also pulled down four rebounds.
Webster averaged 10.8 points and three rebounds in 25 minutes during his eight games in Fort Worth. Webster's standout performance came on Jan. 24 versus the Flame, when he scored 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting with four rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes.
Both players will return to Portland prior to the Trail Blazers' game at Indiana on Wednesday, Feb. 8.
