It was a total domination by FC Dallas through all 75 minutes of the game. FC Dallas midfielders made great use of both flanks of the field to create several opportunities for their strikers. It was in the 8th minute that FC Dallas opened the score when Mario Torres centered the ball to the middle of the box to find Kevin Wilson who slammed it to the back of the net for a 1-0 lead. FC Dallas would take control over the game from that point on. Ty Maurin and Alex Woods each had two goals with Wilson one more time, Torres and Alex Yi rounding out the scoring for the first half.

FC Dallas Head Coach Colin Clarke decided to make some movements for the second half, substituting Talley, Torres and Pareja for the trialists Santibañez, Aragon and Faz. It was more of the same and in a shorter second half FC Dallas found the back of the net two more times. First in the 57th minute when trialist Floorent Ghilfolfi made a nice move around the goalkeeper to leave himself in front of the net to put the 9-0 and two minutes later Luis Faz gathered in a long pass, turned and hammered a shot to the upper right side for the 10-0 final.

FC Dallas will have the day-off tomorrow (Wednesday) and will be back at training on Thursday at Blue Sky beginning at 10:00 a.m. The team will then practice on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at either Blue Sky or at the Cotton Bowl before meeting the L.A. Galaxy on Saturday (7:30 p.m.) at the Cotton Bowl.
