The St. John's Fog Devils have released the club's Official logo, jersey and colors at a launch event held at Empire Theatres Studio 12 in St. John's, NL on Saturday. The launch was attended by upwards to 1,700 people (1,680).The logo, which was created by local marketing firm The Idea Factory, features the Fog Devils' name with a Devilish little character peaking over the crest. Within in the writing of the "Fog Devils", appears the look of fog, with the character's tail creeping out underneath the writing, shooting a hockey puck. The logo also depicts the club's official colors – Red, Black, White and Silver.
As well as launching the logo, the club revealed its jersey for the 2005-06 season. The club will wear a predominately white jersey at home and a black jersey on the road.
The St. John's Fog Devils are the newest member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and are one of 58 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League. The franchise begins its inaugural season in September 2005.
Season Ticket information is currently available at the Fog Devils website (www.fogdevils.com). Former Season Ticket Holders of the St. John's Maple Leafs are currently being given first right to their seats until June 8. After this date, Season Tickets will be available to the public.
