BOUCHERVILLE, Monday April 2005 (QHJHL) The Disciplinary Prefect of the Québec Major Junior Hockey League, Mr Maurice Filion, imposed a suspension of three games to Kevin Cormier of the Halifax Mooseheads. This sanction follows the elbowing by Cormier in the face of a Rouyn-Noranda Huskies player that caused a fracture of the jaw, incident that occurred in the K-1 game on Friday April 22.
This suspension came into full force, Saturday April 23, 2005.
Accordingly to the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, Mr Filion will not be available for further comments.
