Florence, KY – The Florence Freedom are pleased to present their new logo for the 2005 season. The
new logo features the word Florence in a pennant-style format, connected to the word Freedom, the focus of the
logo, which has the letter "O" as a baseball, with the eagle perched atop the baseball. This gives the team a
much different look from the backwards American flag logo from previous seasons.The Freedom also officially changed their colors from last season to navy blue, red and white, as opposed to royal blue, red and white.
"We are thrilled to unveil a logo for the Freedom that is not only bolder and more visually appealing, but that much better captures the spirit that we hope will be embodied by this organization throughout the region for years to come," said general manager Pat Daly.
The Florence Freedom logo is available in several different formats. The 2005 Florence Freedom home opener is Saturday May 28 at 7:05 p.m. versus the Chillicothe Paints.
