ORLANDO WR/LB CORY FLEMING vs. LOS ANGELES WR/DB KEVIN INGRAM
Theres a Rumble in The Jungle this Sunday, April 3 at noon ET on NBC when the AFLWAs No. 5-ranked Orlando Predators host the No. 8-ranked Los Angeles Avengers. Defending U.S. Army Ironman of the Year Orlando WR/LB CORY FLEMING (6-2, 215, Tennessee) leads the charge for the Predators and their No. 1 scoring defense (42.0 PPG). His great physicality and exceptional hands make him dangerous on both sides of the ball inside the red zone. The former Volunteer leads the Predators in receptions (40) and receiving touchdowns (14).
Fleming will face Avengers three-way standout WR/DB KEVIN INGRAM (6-1, 195, West Chester), a former All-Ironman selection leads his team in receiving yards (543) and touchdowns (12). A leading candidate for Ironman of the Year honors this season, the versatile Ingram also leads the Avengers in all-purpose yards (836) and combined kick return yardage (293). On defense, Ingram has 32.5 tackles (28 solo), two interceptions and four pass breakups.
COLUMBUS WR/DB CORNELIUS WHITE vs. PHILADELPHIA WR/LB MARCUS KNIGHT
Two AFL emerging stars will fight for the spotlight when the Philadelphia Soul (4-5) travel to Nationwide Arena to battle the Columbus Destroyers (1-7) this Sunday at noon ET on NBC. Week 9 U.S. Army Ironman of the Week WR/LB MARCUS KNIGHT (6-1, 192, Michigan) tallied 11 receptions for 142 yards and five touchdowns, while adding 4.0 total tackles, forcing and recovering a fumble in last weeks victory over Grand Rapids. Knight, who is in his rookie season, is known for his ability to get open and make the tough catch.
Knight will have to outshine Columbus All-Ironman candidate WR/DB CORNELIUS WHITE (6-1, 200, Virginia Tech). The former Hokie leads the Destroyers in receptions (51), receiving touchdowns (11) and scoring (72), while 23.5 tackles on defense. White is known for his versatility, speed and route-running abilities.
Knight will team with veteran QB TONY GRAZIANI (6-3, 210, Oregon), who is on pace to throw 100 touchdowns, while White will have QB MATT DORAZIO (6-4, 215, Otterbein) under center for the Destroyers.
