Leafs Foundation Launches Agree to Read

The St. John’s Maple Leafs have once again teamed up with their corporate partner Dominion, and the Department of Education to launch “Agree to Read”. This educational program is designed for students from kindergarten to grade six throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Agree to Read is a four-week program whereby students record their daily reading and in doing so have the opportunity to win weekly prizes at their local Dominion Stores and the opportunity to qualify for the grand prize compliments of the Maple Leafs and Dominion.

The St. John’s Maple Leafs visit the Grand Rapids Griffins this Wednesday. Game time is 8:30pm, NT and will be broadcast LIVE on Radio NL (930AM) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca. The team returns to Mile One Stadium this Friday, March 4th to face the Hershey Bears.
