FORCE STREAKS:

Midfielder Robbie Aristodemo has appeared in 82 straight games. Aristodemo appeared in 72 straight games for the San Diego Sockers.

CRUNCH TIME:

The Cleveland Force will be holding its first ever Crunch throw back night this Sunday, January 9 when the team will take on the Philadelphia KiXX. The Force will wear the red Crunch uniforms during the game. Fans entering the game will receive a Crunch premium item and all will have a chance to win the jerseys wore by the players in a silent auction. Other exciting promotions and events involving the Crunch and their championships seasons will take place throughout the game.

FORCE AND MISL ANNOUNCE REVISED SCHEDULE:

The Cleveland Force along with the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) today announced the revised 2004-05 season schedule as a result of the San Diego Sockers and Monterrey Tigres discontinuing operations for the balance of the season. Cleveland had one chnage to its original schedule as the April 9th game has been moved to a day earlier on April 8th. In addition, all seven remaining teams will now operate under one division. In addition, the MISL announced a change in the playoff format. The top four teams will play in a two game goal aggregate series in the opening round and a best of the three series in the Championship Series.

MISL TO HOLD DISPERSAL DRAFT:

The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) announced today details for the special dispersal draft to allocate players on the rosters of the former San Diego Sockers and the MISL Monterrey teams. The League will hold the dispersal draft on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. (EST) via teleconference.

Teams will select players according to their combined winning percentage from the 2003-04 season and the first part of the 2004-05 season, including games played through January 2, 2005. Selection order is based on the lowest winning percentage selecting first and the best winning percentage selecting last. Accordingly, the Chicago Storm hold the first selection in the draft, while the Cleveland Force own the second pick and the St. Louis Steamers are third. The Kansas City Comets, Philadelphia KiXX, Baltimore Blast and the Milwaukee Wave will round out the selection order. Results of the dispersal draft will be released on Thursday, January 6 to allow for teams to contact players they have selected.

FANTASY FAN OF THE GAME:

The Cleveland Force and Ohio Lottery Fantasy Fan Of The Game For the January 9th game versus the Philadelphia KiXX is David Bender of Broadview Heights. David will recieve a $100 contract for the game, a premium prize package courtesy of the Ohio Lottery, a Force jersey, on-field access, special seats, opportunity to meet Head Coach Omid Namazi and lunch with Force broadcaster Al Pawlowski. Force fans will have the another chance to be the Fantasy Fan on Friday, April 15th. In order to be selected, you must register at the Force Sales Table located on the outer concourse near section 106.
