Back to back wins have Rampage rolling

LAST WEEK IN REVIEW

Rampage Update: Wednesday, Greg Jacina scored 1:36 into the opening period before the Chicago Wolves scored seven unanswered goals. The game featured 113 penalty minutes on 34 infractions. Kari Lehtonen saved 31 of 32 shots to earn his fourth win of the season, 7-1.

Friday, Stephen Weiss assisted on the team's first goal and scored the game-winning goal just 38 seconds into third period. Jay Bouwmeester scored his first two career AHL goals, the first at 3:42 into the third period with a four-on-three power play advantage and the second with a shorthanded empty-net goal with 2:15 left to play in the game. Bouwmeester also assisted on Jacina's goal in the first period. Travis Scott had a 26-save effort allowing only one goal on the night for the 4-1 win over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.

Saturday, Nathan Horton scored 6:59 into his second AHL game and Josh Olson scored minutes later in the first, but the Griffins tied the game at two heading into the first intermission. Bouwmeester scored at 6:22 of the second period to put the Rampage up 3-2. Gregory Campbell gave San Antonio an insurance goal that would prove to be the game-winner as Niklas Kronwell scored with 39 seconds to play to make the score 4-3. Scott picked up his second win of the year with 33 saves on 36 shots.
