The Saginaw Spirit encourage fans to support The Nick Andros Music Scholarship concert, scheduled Friday, November 5th. The Concert will raise money for the Nick Andros Music Scholarship, established by Nick's friends and family in remembrance of the creative energy and passion for living. The recipient of this scholarship will be the person who best exemplifies Nick's spirit of positive inspiration and ambition. Nick was a member of the Saginaw Spirit staff who passed away suddenly in the fall of 2003.
The concert features The Verve Pipe, Jedi Mind Trip and 19 Wheels. Tickets are available at the following places The Temple Theatre or by phone at (989) 754-Show, The Hamilton St. Pub., Mid-Michigan Music in Saginaw, Bay City and Midland, T.B.F. Graphics, Woody O'Briens, JB Meinbergs, 3-Star Hockey, Herters Music in Saginaw and Bay City, Red Eye Coffee in Saginaw, and Every Jedi Mind Trip Show. All tickets are $15.00.
The Saginaw Spirit, Mid-Michigan's Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Franchise plays 34 home games from September to March. The OHL is part of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), which also includes the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
