Women's only hockey clinic back by popular demand

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL, proud affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers, have announced the return of the “Women’s Only Hockey Clinic and Fashion Show”. The clinic was a very popular event just prior to the first season for the Grrrowl in 1998, and is scheduled for Tuesday October 19, 2004 at Sharky’s Pub on Main Street. Center Ice Charities will benefit from net proceeds of the clinic.

Geoff Hart, WYFF-TV Sports Director, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the clinic. During the 2-hour event, two Grrrowl players will “showcase” the various equipment items that are worn during actual competition. As well, the entire Grrrowl team will serve as waiters and hosts for the evening.

Featuring: John Marks, Grrrowl Head Coach Ryan Stewart, Assistant General Manager Waiters: Greenville Grrrowl Hockey Team

*Coach Marks will conduct a “Hockey 101” Clinic *Players will “display” equipment needed to compete in professional hockey

WHEN: Tuesday, October 19, 2004 - 6:00pm – 8:00pm

WHERE: SHARKYÂ’S PUB, 112 North Main Street, Greenville, SC

COSTS: $30.00 per person – in advance
