Rupert, Jared, Skyy Dogs to visit the Vic

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- The Indianapolis Indians return to Victory Field, Thursday, July 15, to kick off a four-game series with the Pawtucket Red Sox, highlighted by a promotional appearance from "AmericaÂ’s Favorite Survivor", Rupert Boneham.

The Indians host IL North Division opponent Pawtucket, managed by Buddy Bailey, the International LeagueÂ’s field manager for the 17th annual Triple-A All-Star Game to be played Wednesday, July 14 at PawtucketÂ’s McCoy Stadium. The Red Sox feature IL All-Star third baseman Earl Snyder who has hit .276 with 25 home runs and 76 RBI.

Homestand details for each game are listed below:

Throwback Thursday/Baby Boomers Night-Thursday at 7 p.m. vs. Pawtucket

Presented by Corona, the Indians return to Victory Field sporting retro uniforms reflective of the 1954 championship club that was recognized as one of the best minor league teams of its decade.

Friday Fireworks Night-Friday at 7 p.m. vs. Pawtucket

Rupert, "AmericaÂ’s Favorite Survivor" will be available during the game to sign autographs and take pictures. The contest will also feature the next WISH-TV Survivor Night in which eight WISH-TV viewers will compete in challenges throughout the game until one winner is named. Jared Fogle, national spokesperson for Subway, will lead the singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" as part of the gameÂ’s seventh inning stretch. Following the contest, fans will be treated to fireworks, courtesy of Reeves Buick Pontiac, Pepsi and The Indianapolis Star.

Skyy Dogs/Indians Card Set/Autograph Night-Saturday at 7 p.m. vs. Pawtucket

The first 4,000 fans entering the gates at 5:30 p.m. will receive an Indians Card Set, courtesy of Marsh, KelloggÂ’s and The Indianapolis Star. From 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Indians players and coaches will sign autographs for fans in the stadium concourse. The famous Skyy Dogs will peform during the game. The Skyy Dogs will showcase incredible disc catching abilities, graceful aecrobatic skill and jumping rope. They are also trained to play Bat Boy at baseball games. Dennis Ryerson, editor and vice president of The Indianapolis Star will lead the singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," as part of the eveningÂ’s seventh inning stretch.

Felipe and Moises Alou Bobblehead Day-Sunday at 2 p.m. vs. Pawtucket

The first 4,000 fans entering the gates at 12:30 p.m. will receive a Felipe and Moises Alou Bobblehead, courtesy of WIBC, Ballpark Franks and Phoenix Brands. Prior to the contest, WIBC will conduct a home run hitting contest in which one contestant will have a chance to win $18,000. Indianapolis Colts radio analyst, Mark Herrmann, will lead the singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," as part of the gameÂ’s seventh inning stretch.
