Snappers Win Third in a Row
May 28, 2004 - Midwest League (MWL) Beloit Snappers
The Beloit Snappers defeated the West Michigan Whitecaps 4-3 at Pohlman Field
tonight. The Snappers hung three runs in the bottom of the third and also added one
run in the fourth inning to take a 4-0 lead. West Michigan got on the board with one
run in the top of the fifth and added two more in the seventh to make it a 4-3 game.
Tim Dillard worked the ninth for his third save of the season. Starting pitcher Ken
Durost went 6.2 innings and struck out 10 batters, while yeilding two runs. Adam
Heether cracked his 14 double and fifth homer of the season.
