Huntsville Channel Cats News Release

HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Huntsville Channel Cats will be participating in a new reality game show during their game this Wednesday night against Cape Fear.

The show is called No Opportunity Wasted (NOW) and is being produced by Now Opportunity Wasted Television, Inc for the Discovery Channel. They give you 72 hours and $3,000 to pursue your dream. It was conceived by Phil Keoghan, globe-trotting host of the Emmy Award-winning The Amazing Race, No Opportunity Wasted is about living each day as if it were your last. It's about physical and mental challenges that metaphorically and literally take dreamers to the edge. It's about expression on a grand scale.

Mike OrsiniÂ’s dream is to play goalie in a professional hockey game and he will get that chance this Wednesday with the Channel Cats. He is a 49-year old letter carrier from Rochester, New York. He is a member of the off-ice officials for the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. He also plays goalie in local menÂ’s league.

Mike arrived in Huntsville today after being surprised by host Keoghan yesterday in Rochester. He will participate with the team in practice tomorrow morning at 11:10 at the Ice Plex.

The episode containing the Channel Cats and Mike will air sometime this fall.
