2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Skills Competition Results; Left wing Randy Rowe Finishes Tied for 2nd

Peoria, Ill. (January 20, 2004) – Peoria Rivermen left wing Randy Rowe, the Eastern Conference All-Star Captain, finished tied for second with a 94.1 mph slap shot in the Hardest Shot Contest in the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Skills Competition. The Eastern Conference defeated the Western Conference 11-10.

Rowe also participated as a passer in the Accuracy Shooting Contest and skated in the Breakaway Relay Contest.

The 12th Annual Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game is tomorrow night – Wednesday, January 21 – at the 9,919-seat Carver Arena at Peoria Civic Center in Peoria.

The Par-A-Dice Hotel-Casino (www.par-a-dice.com), a Boyd Gaming Corporation property, signed on as the title sponsor on May 30, 2003. The Par-A-Dice is located in East Peoria, IL just east of I-74. Par-A-Dice offers over 1,150 slot machines, four restaurants and the ever popular sports bar, Centerfield 9. The Par-A-Dice Casino is open from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 a.m. daily.
