Reirden Traded to Phoenix

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Cincinnati Mighty Ducks defenseman Todd Reirden was traded by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim to the Phoenix Coyotes for future considerations on Saturday.
Reirden, 32, had three goals and eight assists with 42 penalty minutes in 39 games with Cincinnati this season. He appeared in 97 career games with Cincinnati in parts of two seasons, recording 10 goals and 24 assists with 139 penalty minutes.
Reirden has played 176 NHL games over four seasons with Atlanta (2001-02), St. Louis (1999-2001) and Edmonton (1998-99), posting 11 goals and 33 assists with 177 peanlty minutes.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound native of Deerfield, Illinois has been assigned by Phoenix to its AHL affiliate in Springfield (Mass.).
