Force To Play Eastern Conference Games

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will play host to the Philadelphia KiXX this Friday, January 24th in a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Eastern Conference game at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University. On Saturday January 25th the Force will hit the road to take on the Harrisburg Heat in MISL Eastern Conference game at the Farm Show Arena. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:35 p.m.
The game between the Force and the KiXX will mark the fourth of six meetings this season. The game will also mark the second of three trips to the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University for Philadelphia. The KiXX leads the season series two games to one as they have posted two victories at the First Union Spectrum. Cleveland won its lone game by a final score of 8-6 on November 9th at the Convo. The two teams have not played each other in over two months as the two franchises last played on November 16th when the KiXX won the game by a final score of 13-11 in Philadelphia.
Cleveland enters the contest after dropping its lone game last weekend to the Milwaukee Wave 13-4 at the Convocation Center at CSU last Saturday. The Force is in second place in the MISL Eastern Conference with a record of 10-10 and trails the KiXX by seven games.
Philadelphia enters the game after defeating the Harrisburg 10-6 in its only games last weekend on Saturday. The KiXX are the hottest team in the MISL as they have posted a season-high 10 game-winning streak. Philadelphia comes into the game with the best record in the MISL with a mark of 17-3.
The game between the Force and the Heat will mark the fourth of six meetings this season. The game will also mark the second of three trips to Farm Show Arena for Cleveland. The Force leads the season series two games to one as they have posted two victories at the Convocation Center at CSU. Harrisburg won its lone game by a final score of 14-13 on December 7th at the Farm Show Arena. Cleveland won the last meeting on January 10th by a final score of 13-12 at the Convo.
Harrisburg enters the game after dropping its only game to the KiXX last weekend on Saturday. The Heat are in third place in the MISL Eastern Conference and trail Philadelphia by 9.5 games for first and the Force by 2.5 games for second place with a record of 9-14.
