(Windsor, ON) - The 7th Man has been returned to his rightful place.

A recently created cut-out designed to allow fans to take fun selfies on the concourse during home games, the 7th Man went missing following the club's 8-3 win over the London Knights

last Saturday. Following a plea for his return from the Spitfire organization and several local sightings yesterday, the 7th Man was dropped off at the WFCU Centre, much to the delight of concerned Spitfire staff members.

"I was taking some guests on a guided tour of the WFCU Centre," said Spitfires staffer, Andrew Rowberry. "And out of the corner of my eye, I see a facility employee and Bagsy (Assistant Equipment Manager Kameron Bagley) lugging the 7th Man. I was a little shocked."

Despite all the attention the disappearance had garnered over the previous few days, Bagley says he initially had no idea what was going on or what was being asked of him.

"I was getting things ready for tonight's game," Bagley recalled. "And he came up to me and said 'Someone just dropped off the 7th Man upstairs. It's way heavier than I thought and I can't carry it myself.' I had no idea what he was talking about. I've been busy and I don't watch the news."

The duo eventually carted the 7th Man to safe overnight storage. He'll be back on the concourse and ready to go tonight, as the Spitfires host the Sudbury Wolves (7:05).

"He's a little banged up and there was a fair bit of mud on one of his skates," Rowberry added. "But all-in-all, nothing a little TLC can't take care of. He's back home now where he belongs."
