TAMPA, Fla. - A three-run, sixth-inning rally led the Tampa Yankees (13-18) to a 4-3 win in the rubber game over the Charlotte Stone Crabs (14-16) on Sunday afternoon at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

RHP Zack Littell (W, 1-2) provided a quality start for Tampa, holding the Stone Crabs to a pair of solo home runs. The 21-year-old allowed two earned runs on four hits in six innings, walking one while striking out two and throwing 48 of 75 pitches for strikes.

Jorge Mateo jumpstarted the T-Yanks in the first, looping a double down the right field line, and later scored on a two-out single into centerfield by Chris Gittens .

A solo home run by David Olmedo-Barrera tied the score in the third before Charlotte claimed the lead with a leadoff homer by Brett Sullivan in the fourth.

LHP Genesis Cabrera made the start for Charlotte and allowed one earned run on four hits in five innings, walking four while striking out five. Cabrera threw 59 of 94 pitches for strikes.

Tampa surged back in front against RHP Drew Smith (BS, 2)(L, 1-1) in the sixth.

Jhalan Jackson drew a walk and advanced to third on a single by Mandy Alvarez . Wes Wilson tied the game with a sacrifice fly into left, scoring Jackson. After Alvarez swiped second, Mateo lined an RBI double off the glove of third baseman Brandon Lowe. Mateo would steal third and score on a wild throw by Smith.

After Littell retired the final eight batters he faced, RHP Matt Marsh sat down the next five Stone Crab hitters. Marsh worked around a two-out single in the eighth to complete two scoreless relief innings.

Charlotte made it interesting in the ninth, loading the bases with one out against RHP Dillon McNamara (SV, 3). A sacrifice fly by Jake Fraley made it a one-run game before McNamara got pinch-hitter Jake Cronenworth to fly out, ending the game.

Gittens (2-for-2, 2BB, RBI) reached base in all four of his plate appearances. Mateo (2-for-5, 2 2B, RBI, 2R, SB), Kyle Holder (2-for-5) and Alvarez (2-for-4, R, SB) also logged multi-hit games.
