Here are five storylines heading into FC Dallas' game against Real Salt Lake:
Welcome Back, Javi
Saturday's game marks midfielder Javier Morales' first professional trip back to Utah since he signed with FC Dallas during the offseason. Morales played 10 seasons for Real Salt Lake, was a three-time All-Star and won MLS Cup (2009).

Yep, Still Streaking
FC Dallas has a 12-game unbeaten streak (6-0-6) in regular season MLS play, dating back to September 17th, 2016. Dallas has six clean sheets during that run, as well. It's the second longest such streak in club history and the longest since going 19 straight matches without posting a loss from May 27, 2010 to October 9, 2010. That streak ended at the feet of Javier Morales at Rio Tinto Stadium on October 16, 2010. Morales had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 loss to RSL.
We Like It There
FC Dallas has come away with points on four of its last seven trips to Rio Tinto Stadium, posting two wins and three draws there dating back to 2012.

Doing It With Defense
Through seven games, FC Dallas has only given up five goals or .71 goals per game. That number is second only to Sporting Kansas City which gives up .3 goals per game. The MLS average is 1.41 per game.
As For That Offense....
FC Dallas has not scored a goal in the opening 30 minutes of a game this season, the only team in MLS without one. In fact, you can make the case FC Dallas is a second-half team. Of the 10 goals Oscar Pareja's club has scored this MLS season, only two have come in the 1st half of a game. The two first-half goals ties FCD with Colorado for the fewest in MLS in 2017.
