U.S. National Team News Release

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The schedule for the 2017 U.S. National Junior Team Training Camp set for Dec. 16-20 in Buffalo, New York, was announced today by USA Hockey. Five practices are scheduled at HarborCenter in Buffalo, New York. Team USA will be seeking consecutive medals in the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship for the second time ever (2010 - gold, 2011 - bronze) after the U.S. earned the bronze medal last year at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship in Helsinki, Finland.

The preliminary roster for the 2017 U.S. National Junior Team will be unveiled in early December.

From Buffalo, training camp will move on to Oshawa, Ontario, Dec. 20-24. The U.S. will play pre-tournament games Dec. 21 against Switzerland at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, and Dec. 23 against the Czech Republic at the Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario.

In August, 42 players attended the 2016 USA Hockey U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. Complete details from that camp, including rosters and statistics, can be found here.
