 Salt Lake Bees

2016 National Anthem Auditions Set

January 22, 2016 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Salt Lake Bees News Release

The Salt Lake Bees invite professional and talented performers who are interested in performing the National Anthem at a 2016 home game to an open-call audition at Smith's Ballpark on Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The preferred style for the anthem is a cappella, and in a traditional version with minimal personal musical interpretation.

Please keep in mind that the National Anthem is about honoring America and the men and women that serve or have served our country, and not about the individual or group performing the piece.

Audition participants will sign up at the Diamond Entrance at Smith's Ballpark. Each participant will receive an audition number, and will then be invited to sit in the audition waiting area. There is no need for resumes, photos, portfolios, recordings, etc. Participant who are selected to sing the National Anthem during the season must perform the same version they performed at their audition.

Those selected will be contacted to perform at a date to be determined during the 2016 Salt Lake Bees Season. Those who are not selected for further consideration will be contacted via email. Notification may take up to several weeks, so your patience is greatly appreciated.
