2016 Florence Freedom Promotional Schedule Unveiled

FLORENCE, KY - Greater Cincinnati's Minor League baseball team, the Florence Freedom presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, is proud to unveil the most anticipated season in team history.
Tickets are still $10, parking is still free, beer on Thursdays is still $1, but the expectations for 2016 have never been higher.
Both on and off the field, the Freedom excelled in 2015; never has the organization gone into a season laying claim to making the playoffs, winning the Frontier League Organization of the Year, the GM being recognized as Executive of the Year, and the club awarded with the honor of hosting the 2016 Frontier League Y'All-Star Game, presented by Aire Serv of Greater Cincinnati.
Clearly the Freedom have a lot to live up to, and the 2016 promotions calendar will not disappoint.
Davey Concepcion, three Princess Nights, a Star Wars and Superhero Night, two Fredom Beer Fests, TP the Ballpark, and a whole lot of fun in-between highlight a promotion packed 2016 Freedom schedule.

- May 13 - Opening Night with Davey Concepcion

- May 19 - Toy Box Night with your favorite cowboy and space ranger toys from the movies
- May 26 - Kickoff to Summer Splashdown w/ 40' inflatable water slide

In addition to all the fun for individual promotions, the Freedom will also feature weekly reoccurring promotions for fan enjoyment. Weekly promotions include: Wednesday - Winning Wednesday presented by The Roehr Agency & Kentucky Proud Wednesdays Each Wednesday, the Freedom guarantee victory or you come back for the final Wednesday night Freedom game for FREE on August 17 thanks to The Roehr Agency.
Also, in honor of the Y'All-Star game and the bluegrass state, Kentucky products will be enjoyed at promotional discounts. Kentucky Proud Wednesdays will include wine tastings and glassware from Stonebrook Winery, promotional offers on Braxton, West Sixth and Kentucky Ale beers, and discounts on Brooks Meats products at the concession stands.
Thursdays - Thirsty Thursday Thursday night Freedom games and dollar beer have been the perfect match for a summer's night since the team opened its doors in 2004. This year, Hudepohl and Hudy Delight drafts can still be enjoyed for just $1.
But also invited to the party in 2016 will be mini-craft beer fests with 20oz craft drafts for just $4. Enjoy the crafts you love from Christian Moerlein, Braxton, West Sixth, Kentucky Ale, Rhinegeist, Sierra Nevada and more for just $4 for 20oz.
Fridays - Fireworks Fridays presented by Arlinghaus Heating and Air The best fireworks show in baseball returns every Friday night detonated by local pyro-technicians Elite Pyrotechnics. Enjoy as the firework shows mimic each Friday theme ranging from princesses to Star Wars, superheroes to Davey Concepcion.
Saturday - Rockin' Saturday, Saturday Flight Nights & Special Olympic Saturdays presented by Meijer Adults get to rock out with a post-game concert presented by Christian Moerlein every Saturday from some of the hottest local bands in Greater Cincinnati, while kids are treated to kickball on the field postgame.
New to 2016, enjoy Saturday Flight Nights. Enjoy one-off crafts from one of our highlighted craft partners each Saturday, then go home with glassware from the breweries you love most. Each flight purchase will consist of four beers (5oz each) from the representative brewery & glassware for one unbeatable price.
Also new in 2016, the Freedom, Meijer and Special Olympics of Kentucky are partnering together to host "Special Olympic Saturdays." Each Saturday night, Special Olympic athletes from around the state will compete on the field in different events pregame, and then enjoy a medal ceremony during each Saturday night game thanks to Meijer.
Sundays - Family Sundays presented by Heritage Bank Kids will run the bases and the whole team will stay late to sign autographs, presented by Jack Lillie Insurance, every Sunday at the Freedom.

The Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, are members of the Independent Professional Frontier League and play a 96 game schedule with 48 regular season home games at UC Health Stadium, located at 7950 Freedom Way in Florence, Kentucky. The 2016 Frontier League Y'All-Star game, presented by Aire Serv, will take place on Wednesday, July 13. The Frontier League Home Run Derby, presented by Toyota, will take place on Tuesday, July 12.
