20 Players Expected To Report For First Day Of Practice

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots, under the ownership group of Hockey Enterprises of Pensacola L.L.C. with owner Tim Kerr, announced that twenty players are expected to participate in the first day of training camp with new Head Coach Dave Farrish tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at the Pensacola Civic Center.
Forwards Dwayne Hay, Aaron Phillips, Tyler Beechey, Jade Galbraith and defenseman Corey Neilson, who all played for the Ice Pilots last season, are expected to be practicing with the Ice Pilots tomorrow morning.
Defenseman Ryan Stokes, forwards Jason Beckett, Jordan Krestanovich and Bill Kinkel all assigned by the Houston Aeros of the AHL and former ECHL MVP goalie Frederic Cloutier are also expected to be in uniform tomorrow morning for the Ice Pilots first practice.
The Ice Pilots will also practice at the Pensacola Civic Center this Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and then move training camp to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi because of no available housing for the players during camp.
Both Ice Pilots practices tomorrow and Sunday at the Pensacola Civic Center are open to the public.
The Ice Pilots also announced all pre-season and regular season tickets must be picked up in person. Tickets will not be mailed out this year. From today through Opening Night, the Ice Pilots office will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Preseason tickets will be available for pickup beginning Saturday, October 9. Any tickets not picked up by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 15 will be available for pickup at Will Call at the front of the Civic Center.
Regular season tickets will be available for pickup at both preseason games and in the Ice Pilots office beginning Saturday, October 16. Any tickets not picked up by 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 3 0 (Opening Night) will be available for pickup at Will Call at the front of the Civic Center.
The Ice Pilots are also looking for someone interested in being a radio producer during all of the Ice Pilots games which are broadcast on the Ice Pilots radio network this season. This person will be responsible for playing the commercials during breaks and help engineer the broadcasts. Anyone interested please contact the Ice Pilots at 432-7825.
The Ice Pilots will play two home preseason games vs. the Gwinnett Gladiators at the Pensacola Civic Center on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16 with both games beginning at 7:05 p.m.
Individual game tickets for the Ice Pilots two home preseason games are now on sale. Cost of individual game tickets for the two preseason games are $10 for all lower level seats and $5 for all upper level seats.
Individual game tickets for all 36 home games during the regular season will go on sale Friday, October 15 at 10:00 a.m. Cost for individual game tickets during the regular season are $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, $13 for behind the goal and lower upper level and $10 for upper level seats.
Fans can purchase individual game tickets for all 36 home games and the two preseason games in person at the Civic Center Box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 850-434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com.
The Ice Pilots under new Head Coach Dave Farrish will begin the 2004-2005 regular season at Mississippi on October 23 and play their home opener Saturday, October 30 vs. the Kelly Cup Finalists Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m.
Season tickets for all 36 home games for floor and glass seats are $649.44, side seats are $459.00, goal seats and lower upper seats are $411.84 and upper seats cost $324.00. 16 game plans, 8 game plans and flex packs also are available.
