18 Force Alumni Set to Play in NCAA Tournament

FARGO, ND "" With the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey Tournament set to begin this Friday, Mar. 23, the Force will once again be well represented. 18 Force alumni will be participating in the tournament this year.
The Force have alumni on 11 of the 16 teams in the tournament, which will culminate in the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota Apr. 5-7. The following players will be participating in the tournament.

Cornell: Cody Haiskanen (16-17), Matthew Cairns (16)
Denver: Sean Mostrom (14-15)
Michigan Tech: Robbie Beydoun (14-16)
Michigan: N/A
Minnesota Duluth: Riley Tufte (15-16), Jarod Hilderman (15-16)
Minnesota State-Mankato: Charlie Gerard (15-16), Shane McMahan (14-17)
Northeastern: N/A
Notre Dame: Justin Wade (11-12), Jack Jenkins (14)
Ohio State: Austin Pooley (14-16)

Fans can watch the NCAA Tournament on the ESPN family of networks beginning this Friday, Mar. 23 at 2 P.M.
The Force will be back at Scheels Arena this Thursday for a series with the Omaha Lancers running Mar. 22-23.
Puck drop for both games will be at 7:05PM. Tickets are available at the Scheels Arena Box Office Monday through Friday from 10AM-5PM, online 24/7 at ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
