$1,000/day Giveaway, Ticket Packages Spread Holiday Cheer

People that want a chance to win $1,000 in cash only have to visit the Binghamton Mets/Binghamton Senators store in the Oakdale Mall for their entry ballot and drop it in the box at the mall's center court. The Oakdale Mall's "Great $1,000 a Day Giveaway" kicked off with the first prize award on Black Friday-November 28th. That drawing started a string of 25 consecutive, daily giveaways of $1,000/day concluding on December 22nd.

No purchase is necessary for eligible contestants, 18 years and older, to pick up one ballot per day of the contest. However, those that present receipts from Oakdale Mall merchants are entitled to an additional ballot for each $25 spent increasing their odds of winning. Once the daily drawing occurs at 5 pm, the ballot box is cleared and contestants must stop back at the B-Mets store to pick up and fill out a new entry to be eligible for the next day's drawing. While visiting the B-Mets store in the Oakdale Mall, fans can now purchase single game tickets for the B-Mets April home games in 2009 including the home opener on April 16th. Ticket prices are $10 for box seats and $9 for reserved grandstand with a $2 discount per ticket for youngsters 14 & under, and seniors 60 & over. Individual tickets for the seven scheduled April, 2009 home dates are also on sale through the team's website (www.bmets.com).

Mini-packs, booklets of vouchers good for reserved grandstand seats, are available in denominations of 50, 30 & 10 at a discount off of box office prices plus they include a coupon good for the home opener. The B-Mets also offer a B-Mets coffee mug with a pair of reserved grandstand ticket vouchers for only $20.

In addition to the area's best selection of Binghamton Mets & Senators merchandise, shoppers can find a full array of New York Mets, Yankees and Giants souvenirs for the sports fans on their list. The B-Mets store is open every day between now and Christmas during Oakdale Mall's holiday operating hours.
