NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Northwest Arkansas mounted a small rally in the top of the ninth inning, scoring twice with two outs; but fell short by a 7-3 final score in the finale of the four-game set against the Arkansas Travelers on Thursday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. Despite the loss, the Naturals take the series winning three of the four contests.

Outfielder, *Ruben Sosa*, led the offensive charge with three hits in four at-bats including a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning. Sosa scored the Naturals first run in the fifth inning off starter, *Tyler Herb (2-2, 3.94)*. After stroking a one-out double into left field, Sosa stole third base on a nonchalant throw, back to the pitcher's mound to set up the first run. *Donnie Dewees* tabbed an infield single to plate Sosa to put the Naturals on the board.

Reliever, *Tim Hill* worked 2.1 innings of scoreless relief and punched out a season-high five hitters on the night. Left-hander, *Jake Kalish*, made his Double-A debut and worked 2.2 innings, allowing two runs and throwing a season-high 53 pitches.

Starter, *Corey Ray (3-3, 4.05) *took the loss working 3.0 innings against the Travelers.

Northwest Arkansas (21-17) recorded 10 hits in the defeat with *Jack Lopez *accounting for two in four at-bats. *Samir Duenez* popped his sixth double of the season and *Carlos Diaz * finished with two hits on the evening as well.

Arkansas (15-24) plated all of their seven runs over the first four innings.

For the 17th consecutive day, Northwest Arkansas will enjoy first place in the Texas League North as they head north to Springfield, Mo. to continue the backend of the eight-game road trip.

Left-hander, *Matt Tenuta (2-1, 6.67) *looks to remain hot on the hill as he will take the ball in Game 1 at Hammons Field in Springfield, Mo. on Friday night against the Cardinals. Left-hander, *Austin Gomber (2-2. 3.41) *will countering for Springfield.
